Happy World Card Making Day!

Yes, us card makers are that awesome. We get our own day!
How could I not resist from making something.

I took a break from my chores and made this card up! I just recently bought some Dylusions ink spray. what a good day to experiment and have some fun! I also, recently got the bird set from Dylusions as well. So, I thought I could play with them both today! The sentiments from this set is just hilarious to me. It reminds me of an episode from Portlandia! Any Portlandia fans out there?

Here is the set that I used from Dylusions.
Quick How To:
I sprayed watercolor paper with the Dylusions ink spray in crushed grape, vibrant turquoise, and lemon zest. Misted with water and let set for a few minutes then soaked up excess with paper towel. The water will take away the ink and will be lighter in color. It gives it a messy distressed look. The water also helps blend the colors. I then used a layering stencil from Tim Holtz and some texture paste from Ranger for the sun burst. I let the paste dry then added some distress ink on it to give it some color. When I was waiting for the paste to dry I stamped and colored the bird with my copic markers and cut it out as well as the sentiment. Used some 3d foam squares for the bird and sentiment and adhered to card panel and then to card base.

This is my first time seeing a very unique art. I envy your work and talent, you will surely go somewhere that will make you recognize and acknowledge your skill. I wist I had this kind of talent that I can be proud of. Can you make some tutorial on how you did this for some of us that is new in making an art. Someday I will be like you and anybody will recognize my work like yours.
